Этот сектор является ключевым сектором экономики, вклад которого в валовой внутренний продукт страны составляет более 10 %. На страны Европейского союза приходится основная часть въездного туристического потока в Болгарию. Доминирующая часть туристов приезжают в страну с целью отдыха. В статье проанализирована Концепция туристического районирования, принятая в 2015 г., содействующая более качественному продвижению туристического потенциала страны на зарубежных рынках. Подробно рассмотрены основные проблемы и конкретные меры, предпринимаемые Министерством туризма Болгарии, в целях повышения привлекательности страны для иностранных туристов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The current state of the Bulgarian tourist industry has been analysed. The tour-ism sector is the key sector of the Bulgarian economy with more than 10 % of gross domestic product of country. Countries of the European Union represent the main part of the inbound tourism in Bulgaria. Most of the tourists visit Bulgaria for recreation. The concept of tourist zoning, approved in 2015, for facilitating the which promotes more qualitative marketing of country’s tourism potential in foreign markets is discussed in the article.
