Целью данной статьи является выявление факторов невовлечения в социально активную деятельность молодежи и составление портрета социальной активности молодежи в Ямало-Ненецком автономном округе. Эмпирической основой послужили данные опроса, проведенного автором осенью 2020 г. На основании факторного и кластерного анализа полученных данных, в частности приоритетов молодых людей в социально активной деятельности, социального статуса и названных ими причин неучастия в мероприятиях и проектах своего населенного пункта, были определены пять типов молодежи: глобалисты, патриоты Ямала, мещане, инфанты-пессимисты и реалисты. Выяснилось, что основными факторами неучастия в направлениях социальной активности для молодежи с высокой степенью участия оказались: отсутствие возможности проявить себя (57,8 %), невозможность участия (54,3 %), занятость осознанной молодежи (51,7 %). Для молодежи с низкой степенью участия это в основном один фактор – отсутствие мотивации (54,7 %), остальные факторы выражены примерно в равной степени, и лишь «отсутствие возможности проявить себя» (45,3 %) – в меньшей из пяти факторов степени. Предложены меры, направленные на увеличение социальной активности молодежи Ямало-Ненецкого автономного округа.

The purpose of the study is to identify factors of non-involvement in youth social activities and to draw a portrait of youth social activity in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. The empirical basis of the study was the survey data conducted by the author in the fall of 2020. Based on the factor and cluster analysis of the data obtained, in particular, priorities of young people in social activities, social status, and reasons for non-participation in activities and projects of their locality, five types of young people have been identified: globalists, patriots of Yamal, burghers, pessimistic infants, and realists. It turned out that main factors of non-participation in areas of social activity for young people with a high degree of participation were lack of opportunity to express themselves (57.8 %), impossibility to participate (54.3 %), and employment of conscious youth (51.7 %). For young people with a low degree of participation lack of motivation (54.7 %) is a main factor, the other factors are expressed in approximately equal degree, and only the lack of opportunity to prove themselves (45.3 %) is the least of the five factors of the degree. The measures aimed at increasing social activity of young people in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District have been proposed.
