<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article analyzes bio-art as one of the most dynamically developing areas of scientific art (science art), and also examines the mechanisms of interaction between science and art practice within the framework of this phenomenon. The empirical basis of the research consists of bio-art projects implemented in the period from 2021 to 2025.</p><p>The paper proposes a division of modern initiatives in the field of bio-art into two areas — artistic and natural. These forms differ in the materials used, the ways of representing the result, the degree of integration of scientific knowledge into the process of creating a work, as well as the nature of cooperation between authors and representatives of the scientific community. The article substantiates the position that bio-art as a form of contemporary art provides an opportunity to interpret significant scientific discoveries through artistic means, contributing to their popularization and conceptual development.</p><p>It is concluded that the greatest potential for productive interaction between science and art is demonstrated by the natural direction of bio-art, which forms stable models of interdisciplinary cooperation and expands the horizons of integration of research and artistic activities.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>био-арт</kwd><kwd>наука</kwd><kwd>искусство</kwd><kwd>интеграция науки и искусства</kwd><kwd>сайнс-арт</kwd><kwd>биологическое</kwd><kwd>художественное</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>bio-art</kwd><kwd>science</kwd><kwd>art</kwd><kwd>integration of science and art</kwd><kwd>science art</kwd><kwd>biological</kwd><kwd>artistic</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Денисов, С.
