Volunteer activities as a basis for the formation of youth activity in Russia

Abstract
Presently, much attention is paid to youth, especially to the problems of young people, due to the fact that youth is the most active age group that can realize itself in all spheres of society: social, political, cultural, etc. This socio-demographic group, more than others, is aimed at raising its social status and assimilating new social roles. The role of volunteer activities in the formation of youth activity is of great importance, since volunteer activity is quite diverse, has different directions, forms that allow young people to participate in the process of social development of society, self-actualize in the development of social and environmental projects, in the prevention of various social problems.
