GEOECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES OF BREXIT
Abstract
In the article the attempt to review possible geoeconomic changes as a result of BREXIT was made. The author draws parallels with Great Britain’s loss of its dominate place in the global economy and policy at the end of XIX-th - the beginning of XX-th century. The role of a currency factor was also showed as a process of weakening pound and rising US dollar in the world monetary system in the mid-twentieth century. The possible final purpose of Brexit was voiced.
