FEATURES OF THE STATE REGIONAL MANAGEMENT OF MODERN UKRAINE

Abstract
The main provisions of the state structure and policy of Ukraine are determined. The definition of the region is given according to the legislation of Ukraine. The basic Ukrainian normative legal acts, relating to the state regional management was analysed. Ethnic and socio-economic differences between regions of Ukraine are revealed. Areas of regional development of the modern government of Ukraine are highlighted. The relationship between the frequent change of government and the implementation of the principles of state regional administration is traced. The discrepancy between the proclamation of the policy of regional development and the insolvency of local authorities is highlighted.
