STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF INFORMATION SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT IN RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract
The main results of surveys of the population of the Russian Federation on the use of information technologies and information and telecommunication networks, as well as the use of information and communication technologies by organizations for the period 2014-2016 have been described. The analysis of the population’s use of personal computers including in terms of gender, age, place of residence has been carried out. Particular attention has been paid to assessing the regularity of the use of personal computers as well as computer skills. The characteristic of the population using the Internet was given. The use of the Internet by population with dierent levels of education has been considered. The characteristic of the main purposes of use of the Internet was given. Special attention has been paid to the issue of information security
