BARRIERS TO INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY

Abstract
In the article, based on the performed analysis, the best practices of innovative ac-tivity of foreign companies have been revealed. The Russian and foreign experience of man-agement of innovative activity of large engineering and oil and gas companies has been considered. The barriers, internal and external challenges, creating threats to the implemen-tation of the innovative strategy of the oil and gas industry in Russia, have been considered. It has established that the most serious external challenge, facing the Russian oil and gas complex, is the challenge, associated with an increase in the supply of hydrocarbons in the global energy markets.
