ESSENCE AND INTERRELATION OF THE CONCEPTS OF INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS AND INVESTMENT CLIMATE OF REGIONS

Abstract
The investment attractiveness of the region is one of the main indicators of the level of development of the region and, as a consequence, the effectiveness of the work of the authorities. Due to limited borrowed financial resources, attracting private investment, both local and foreign, becomes one of the most important tasks of the leadership. The development of modern methods and approaches to assessing the investment attractiveness of the region and increasing its level on the basis of the data obtained today is more than relevant. In order to correctly determine the level of investment attractiveness of the region and develop a strategy for its further development, it is necessary to understand the very concept of investment attractiveness. This article analyses various interpretations of the concepts of investment attractiveness and the investment climate, describes the main approaches to their relationship, the author also proposed his definitions of these concepts and their relationship.
