THE MAIN FACTORS OF COMPETITIVENESS OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN THE EUROPEAN UNION

Abstract

In the article below, we can see how structural factors and demography affect small and medium enterprises performance in European countries and contributes to it. In addition, result underlines the importance of the business environment in a modern economy where high performance of large businesses is associated with a corresponding high performance of the small and medium enterprises sector.
