Analysis of the demand for environmental technologies in hotels

Abstract
The article presents the concept of an ecological hotel, which justifies the need for development taking into account the environmental literacy of service consumers and solving environmental problems. The authors analyse the concepts of “eco-hotel”, “eco-technologies”, the content of which is focused on the careful attitude to natural resources, innovative “green” technologies that operate on the principle of environmental responsibility. The paper considers two types of ecological hotels in Russia and abroad, located in natural (rural) areas and urban environment and gives their characteristics. The authors consider the results of the study obtained in relation to the choice of eco-technologies in hotels by consumers. The paper confirms the formulated hypotheses. The article traces the relationship between the environmental awareness of service consumers and the choice of eco-technologies in hotels.
