Problems of career success for young professionals in public and municipal service

Abstract
This article discusses the problems of behavioral assessment of the success of building a career of a specialist in the state and municipal administration. The main approaches to building a successful career and professional realisation of an employee is analysed. Special attention is paid to the development of professional skills among the state and municipal employes. With the requirements of federal state standards in mind, the main areas of competence needed in today’s environment for building a successful career of a young specialist or manager in the state and municipal administration are determined. According to the results of the study, it has been concluded that in the modern system of higher education needs additional training programmes taking into account the designated competencies and criteria for assessing the success of young professionals in the state and municipal service.
