STATISTICAL ANALYSIS THE FOOD SECURITY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN THE REGIONAL CONTEXT
Abstract
The article considers the problem of assessing food security at the regional level of the Russian Federation. The calculated main characteristics the number of agricultural enterprises and organizations, a grouping of constituent entities of the Russian Federation on volume of import and export of food products in 2014, as well as factors that have the greatest impact on the consumption of food products. On the basis of the conducted research the author proposes the integral indicator of food security assessment and a cluster analysis is performed on key indicators of food security.
