Modern requirements for new police units’ leaders in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam communes

Abstract

Improving police organizational structure in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam communes is a strategically important task that requires focused and serious implementation. This process proposes new units creation and new supervisors appointment. In some cases, newly appointed supervisors will be transferred to newly created units. It will help a supervisor to be more proactive in building a management strategy without having to overcome the negative effects left by the previous supervisors. Executives face huge challenges in managerial adaptation and organizing collaborative activities and team building. In particular, they may face challenges such as creating everything from scratch in the face of high workloads and tensions and the constant potential risk of failure. The issues that newly appointed supervisors in new units of the police system in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam communes need to pay attention to in order to meet modern requirements and challenges have been analyzed. The ways of solving the analyzed issues and recommendations of the directions of a supervisor’s activity to improve the quality of performance of new units of the commune police have been proposed.
