Artificial Intelligence in the personnel management system: new horizons for organizations

Abstract

In the context of global digitalization, AI technologies are increasingly becoming an important tool for managing personnel. The AI’s role and impact on the transformation of decision-making tools and technologies in the personnel management system is stidued. The problem area of research is AI as a tool for improving the quality of making and implementing managerial decisions in the context of the digital transformation of the personnel management sphere at a modern company. The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of the use of AI technologies on the content and quality of solving the main personnel tasks. The objective of the study is to identify the advantages and disadvantages that a company that has embarked on the path of using AI in solving personnel issues.

The results of the analysis of the practice of using AI technologies by Russian and foreign companies to solve personnel issues are presented. The challenges associated with the ethical and social aspects of AI technologies implementation in personnel management are analyzed. The authors conclude that it is necessary to integrate AI technologies into both the corporate management system and the functional personnel management system in order to ensure the competitiveness and sustainable development of a modern company. 

The presented conclusions and proposals are based on the results of national expert monitoring, research conducted by Russian and foreign companies on the effective use of digital tools in solving personnel management tasks.
