FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF FORMATION OF EXPORT-ORIENTED TIMBER PROCESSING COMPLEXES

Abstract

Article object of research - synthesis of foreign practice of steady forest exploitation and management of timber processing complex. A research objective - identification of major factors of formation of competitive advantages in the industry. The research has shown that the timber processing complexes of such countries as Finland, Sweden and Canada have made great progress in increase in competitiveness of the industry. At the same time, Russia is faced by problems of a solution of the problem of import substitution and increase in export orientation of this industry. In the article approaches of the leading countries of the world to the organization of reforming of forest industry for the purpose of its fuller integration into the world economy are considered and generalized.
