DIVERSIFIED FORMS OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION BETWEEN ARABIC ISLAMIC BANKS DURING THE ISSUANCE OF SUKUK

Abstract

The measures undertaken by governments of the Arabic Persian Gulf countries for the purposes of accelerating construction in the infrastructure are covered. Such measures include the issuance of sukuk, which investors view with optimism. For instance, «The green energy» is one of such promising islamic undertakings. Institutional investors from the Arabic Persian Gulf countries have the aptitude to comingle with the sukuk issuance, resulting in the improvements of the market situation. The author concludes that Muslim pension and insurance funds have good prospects for becoming part of the sukuk trade. It will consequently improve the liquidity of Islamic banks.
