Using of multi-criteria decision-making methods to assess the prospects of innovative projects

Abstract

The article solves the scientific problem of developing methodological tools for ensuring the activities of expert commissions that evaluate innovative projects in the process of selecting them for financing.

The purpose of the article is to test the author’s approach to the formation of expert commissions using multi-criteria decision-making methods (MCDM). The analysis of the existing methodological framework. 

for using the expert method of evaluating innovative projects to assess the prospects of innovative projects and make decisions about their financing was conducted. The conclusions about the shortcomings of existing approaches, their “growth points” and the need to find alternative options for conducting expertise are formulated. The analytical and factual materials contain provisions concerning the use of the expert method for solving various tasks, including those related to the evaluation of innovative projects, which has both theoretical and practical significance.

Based on the analysis and critical reflection of existing approaches, “white spots” in the research field were identified and directions for improving the process of forming expert commissions were proposed. The calculation formulas that make it possible to form and verify expert commissions, which is a prerequisite for further testing, and therefore various directions for detailing actions at the stages of forming such commissions are proposed in order to improve the accuracy and quality of expertise are presented.
