Abstract

M&A are still relevant and discussing according to global and Russian M&A statistics (value and count) and Management Tools & Trends survey, conducting by Bain & Company since 1993. Based on more than 10 surveys took place in different time M&A deals results were analyzed in different aspects, including top reasons why M&A have not generated expected value. Key M&A trends were analyzed: shift from scale deals to scope deals, complex corporate ecosystems occurring, time to close an M&A deal has risen in the last decade etc. As an illustration a few famous M&A failures were presented with results summary. Most important factors in achieving a successful M&A were defined and grouped in accordance with integration stages.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyse the methods for evaluating personnel in hiring. The essence and relevance of evaluation methods, the reliability of the results and the frequency of use of evaluation methods in Russian recruitment companies have been considered in the article. Classical methods have been highlighted, the most popular, time-consuming, and demanded evaluation technologies have been noted. The attention is focused on the advantages of the competency model (interview on competencies), an example of the competency model of a personnel manager has been given. The effectiveness of using structured interviews to evaluate employees has been noticed. The relevance of identifying the degree of development of the "digital adaptability" competency, which allows the employee to navigate in the context of large-scale digitalization, has been substantiated, indicators of this competency have been considered. The role and tasks of the interviewer have been described.

Abstract

Organizational culture activates the ability to effectively solve management problems and plays a positive role in the development of the organization, provided, that managers are aware of its significance and have appropriate knowledge. The results of organizational culture study of one of the companies in the Perm territory using two methods: Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) and the method by S. I. Cordon, have been given in the article. Application of foreign and domestic methods gave comparable results: clan organizational culture according to OCAI correlates with the type of culture "Family", highlighted by S. I. Cordon, adhocratic culture - with the type of culture "Business". The results of organizational culture assessment of the organization under study and directions of possible managerial influences have been presented in the article.

Abstract

The relevance of solving the problem of managing top managers’ installations has been proved. A brief overview of the two types of mindsets identified by Carol Dweck has been given: fixed mindsets and growth mindsets. Examples of negative and positive influence of mindsets on the work of a top manager, which affected the company’s competitiveness, have been presented. The dependence of the organization’s competitiveness on the type of top managers' mindset has been revealed. Ways to determine the mindset of candidates for top managers and development of the growth mindset when preparing employees who are in the personnel reserve for promotion to higher positions have been proposed also. The methods indicated in the article for changing the mindset of personnel reserve employees require further research.

Abstract

Modern marketing approach to improving the educational process and infrastructure of the university in order to enhance its competitiveness has been studied. A model of the marketing educational environment of the university has been proposed. The need for diagnostics of "bottlenecks" in the work of the university’s functional units in the transition period to the knowledge paradigm of the country’s economic development has been actualized. The experience of the Department of Marketing of the State University of Management in conducting annual marketing research to study the possibilities of improving the quality of educational process and infrastructure of the University using the method of student team consulting has been outlined. The distinctive features of this method and the specifics of its application in the spring semester of2020 with an emphasis on virtual teams in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic have been described. Debatable issues and prospects for further scientific research in this area have been formulated.

An approach to the process of forming a digital ecosystem in industry in the context of digitalization has been presented. The aim of the study is to develop recommendations on the formation of a digital ecosystem of industrial cooperation based on the use of the technical capabilities of digital platforms in the context of the expansion of the digital industry. The result of the study is a digital ecosystem based on the theory of a new industrial society. The article emphasizes that advantage of reindustrialization for industry is to use a digital platform and to work with big data. The generated results will contribute to scientific research aimed at implementing digital transformation programs for industrial enterprises.

Abstract

The main approaches to evaluation of efficiency of logistic strategy of the organization s finished product sales management have been reviewed. The features of traditional and innovative methods of evaluation have been revealed: assessment based on investment efficiency; evaluation of the strategy based on a system of balanced indicators; the method of expert assessments; assessments based on simulation modeling; multi-criteria evaluation methods; combined forecast method. According to the provided information, the main formation disadvantages of the assessment method and its actual implementation have been highlighted: a low degree of formalization of the model; subjectivity of initial data; the lack of indicators taking into сonsideration influence of the external environment; the lack of associated risk assessment; the difficulty of constructing evaluation models, only some key parameters are taken into account.

Abstract

The essence of service and service as a product of the service business, including the core of the service, its customized variants, atmosphere, architecture and contact personnel, has been characterized. It has been found out that customer orientation is a key characteristic of a business in the service sector and reflects a combination of understanding of its strategic vectors, its essential characteristics and the vision of the organization through the eyes of the client (internal - employee and external - consumer). It has been determined that a customer-oriented service consists in focusing attention on the customer, rather than on a product-centered marketing strategy. The components of a successful customer-oriented service have been highlighted, based on the quality of services provided, the level of accompanying service, the range of services provided and the availability of after-sales service. It has been noted that nowadays there is a shift in the relationship between sellers and buyers from onetime transactions to long-term partnership relations.

An analysis of the foreign experience ofpublic service and the possibility of its use in Russia has been performed. The research is aimed at studying foreign experience of working with public administration personnel in order to make recommendations for improving the Russian personnel policy in the public service. The positions of Russian and foreign scientists in this field of research have been summarized. The main trends of personnel policy in the public service in foreign countries have been highlighted. Abstract

An important stage of a freight forwarding company positioning selection of its name, has been studied and the main principles of the name selection for an organization that is planning to operate in freight forwarding area have been revealed. Among requirements for a new company’s name non-conformity to widespread standards, relevance, presence of semantic charge, geographical conformability, sonority, originality, up-to-dateness and readiness for public use have been emphasized. The features of name selection for freight forwarding companies by reference to the specifics of the industry have been described in detail. Typical mistakes of owners of the companies operating in Russian freight forwarding market that are made when selecting a company’s name have been analysed.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to identify specifics of the organizational culture ofproject-based companies. Based on generalizations of the results of existing research, the definition of a project-based company has been clarified. The main characteristics that distinguish project-based firms from process-based firms have been identified. Based on this characteristics, it has been concluded that such companies differ not only in their organizational structure, content of activities and composition of participants, but also in their organizational culture. Among these features of organizational culture, the authors have included: focus on the final result, team interaction, informal communications, internal motivation of employees, active interaction with the customer. The conclusion has been made about the specifics of the project culture.

Abstract

The leading direction in the field of consulting: digital-consulting, which appeared in the conditions of transformation of the traditional economy into a digital one, has been considered. An attempt has been made to determine the essence of digital consulting, to identify priority areas for the development of consulting companies in the era of digitalization, which was the purpose of the work. The main stages of the formation and changes in the field of consulting taking into account trends in the global economy have been noted. Specific features and development opportunities of a consulting company that reflect the essence of digital transformation in this area have been defined and presented in the form of a consulting model 4.0. The results of studying the development of this market, including digital consulting in market leading companies, have been presented. It has been concluded about the importance of the transition to the digital transformation according to the Consulting 4.0 model, using all the features of the digital-consulting formation stage, in order to achieve digital leadership. The research results can be used to expand and systematize scientific knowledge in the field of digital consulting, as well as to determine strategic guidelines for the development of consulting organizations in the context of digitalization.

Abstract

Long-term trends of inequality in leading countries of the world have been analysed. Country features of economic inequality development related to the socio-economic structure of the country and social mentality, which have a significant impact on the adjustment of the financial mechanism of redistribution of income and wealth, have been identified. The current income tax rates of 42 countries, including social insurance payments have been analysed. As a result, it has been concluded that Russia is one of the few countries with a lack ofprogressive income taxation system and very low tax rates. If our society really wants to create a strong economy similar to the European Union, China or the USA, then the first step, to introduce a progressive system of income taxation, planned in 2021 should be the basis for further accelerated implementation of an effective system of progressive taxation of income, wealth and inheritance in Russia.

Abstract

Actual problems of modernization of tax control have been considered and proposals aimed at the development of tax administration in the context of digitalization of the economy have been formed. The risks of using big data in the tax sphere have been determined, the conclusion about the need for state regulation of the use of Big Data technology has been made. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the key areas of tax control modernization through the use of modern digital technologies, as well as to develop practical proposals for their implementation. Methods of system approach, analysis and synthesis, as well as abstraction and generalization have been used. It has been concluded about the need to develop legislation in the field of digitalization of the economy, state regulation of the use of big data technology, ensuring reliable database security and protection ofprivacy, as well as the creation of software for identifying transactions.

Abstract

The study includes an analysis of various levels of strategies for changing the positions of companies in the existing global value creation chains. First of all, companies in the technology sector of the economy in the Asian region, including companies of South Korea and China, have been considered. As the result of the research, some factors influencing the change in the subordinate position of companies in global value creation chains, -have been presented. In addition, the impact of these factors on changing positions of companies in the high-tech sector in global value creation chains has been analysed. The most frequently repeated factors have been structured and presented as a table.

Abstract

The purpose of the publication is to clarify the content of the concept of the digital economy and to draw the attention of management personnel public authorities and busi­ness, as well as employers, legislators, scientists and others to this issue. Research metho­dology is based on a double phrase “digital economy”, consisting of both a digital phenom­enon and, in fact, an economy, which required the separation and analysis of each term separately. We apply the well-known postulate about generality and peculiarities in the de­velopment of similar economic phenomena, which are the economy and its digital part in the article. The results obtained include generalization of the theoretical views of researchers on the digital economy as a social phenomenon and scientific concept, as well as its applica­tion in the practice of domestic management. Various approaches to understanding the digi­tal economy, including the denial of this phenomenon have been compared. The thesis about the general laws of economic development in general and the digital economy in particular has been substantiated. Threats, dangers challenges of the phenomenon under considera­tion have been indicated. The conclusion on the need for accelerated development of a ma­jor scientific and technical project for the development of the digital economy in the coun­try and its persistent implementation has been formulated.

Measures and activities of the Russian state aimed at ensuring the economic security of the "Russian Helicopters" holding company have been considered. The problematic situations in the company’s activities that threaten its stable functioning have been presented. The development of the model range of "Russian Helicopters" in comparison with leading foreign competitors has been reviewed. The technological parity of the holding and competing firms has been diagnosed. The efforts of the Russian state to meet the needs of Russian helicopter builders in aircraft engines and new materials have been described. A group offactors influencing the level of unit cost has been presented. The production results of the holding’s work have been given. It has been concluded about the effectiveness and efficiency of the actions of the management and the state-owner of the company, aimed at protecting its interests.

Abstract

The article examines infrastructure investment projects, their impact on the economy. The main attention is paid to road construction objects, because the road network still does not meet modern requirements. Due to the fact that infrastructure projects are diagnosed and classified according to areas of activity, systematized according to the forms of implementation, it is necessary to determine approaches to a targeted assessment of the effectiveness of such projects, depending on their classification, which are formulated in the article. Attention is focused on the need for alternative projects, which is facilitated by the digitalization of the economy. Infrastructure projects can be financed from several sources of budgets of all levels, off-budget funds, private investors ’ funds, joint and project financing, concession agreements, foreign investments and bank loans with a minimum interest rate.

Abstract

A review of the dynamics of the main indicators of Russian banks has been presented, their risks in the context of step-by-step implementation of the recommendations of the international capital adequacy assessment standards in a period of unstable economic situation have been analysed, and also the current level of capital adequacy of banks in order to cover their risks has been evaluated. The problems, with which Russian banks may face in the process offurther transition to international standards for assessing capital adequacy have been designated. Recommendations taking into account the peculiarities of banks functioning in the current conditions, aimed at ensuring the financial stability of the banking business at the level of both the individual Bank and the banking sector as a whole, as well as at limiting the concentration of risks and preventing the emergence of new concomitant or specific risks have been given.

Taking into account innovative approaches to graduate training, the Sevastopol College of service and trade development Program is being built as a tool for professional and personal formation and development of a highly qualified specialist, teachers have innovative initiatives, and students are ready to accept innovations. In recent years, the role of non-material factors in economic development has been growing: social policy and corporate social responsibility of companies are becoming increasingly important. Determining the forms, methods and amounts of contribution to the socio-economic component ofpublic relations is the prerogative of any company, and structuring activities in this area is a prerequisite for creating social programs. The study is devoted to the definition and justification of the role of social programs in the implementation of corporate social responsibility. The relevance of the research is due to the increasing influence of corporate social responsibility on the economic condition and development of companies, as well as on the socio-economic life of society. Abstract

The possibility of using art therapy as a means of increasing the level of self-esteem in adolescent children has been proved theoretically. Psychological literature on the problem of therapeutic function of art therapy has been analysed. The levels of self-esteem, therapeutic possibilities of art therapy the possibility of using art therapy as an effective tool to increase the evaluation opinion of adolescents about the personal development of adolescent children have been highlighted. Actual creative activity, which includes art therapy, allows you to identify the relevant individual processes, as well as characteristic signs of personality development in the mental life of a teenager. An additional effect and guarantee of securing performance will be if a teenager after art therapy turns artistic activity into a hobby. The potential of this therapeutic area for self-esteem correction is the ability of teenagers to express their positive and negative emotions in an artistic form, solve internal conflicts, relieve anxiety, and much more.

Abstract

Urgent problems of adolescent aggression as an integral part of deviant behavior, which often manifests itselfprecisely in the adolescent complex "transitional" period of human development, which is very often accompanied by various negative manifestations of personality disharmony (including aggressiveness), requiring constant detailed and deep attention and analysis, since there is a danger that the aggression of adolescents can go into adulthood, turn from a social pathology into a social norm, have been considered. Based on a comprehensive theoretical analysis and consideration of the results of empirical research aimed at studying the social and socio-psychological aspects of adolescent aggression, the well-reasoned patterns of the structure of adolescent aggression of schoolchildren of the Perm Territory, the prevailing forms of their aggression have been highlighted and described. Factors influencing the overall the level of aggression and on the types of aggression, as well as the influence of aggression on the assessment of life success and well-being in schoolchildren, have been identified and analysed.

Abstract

The issue of studying the factors causing the syndrome of burnout is an acute one in modern psychological science. The problem of emotional burnout syndrome in young employees is considered by the authors within the framework of psychological safety paradigm. The results of a study of emotional burnout syndrome in specialists with work experience of up to three years have been described. To conduct the study, methods were used aimed at identifying the degree of expression of emotional burnout syndrome, as well as the characteristics of labor behavior and attitude to work. Differences in labor behavior and attitudes to work among specialists with varying degrees of emotional burnout syndrome have been revealed. The conversation with employees has allowed us to highlight the main reasons for the appearance ofprofessional deformation. Young employees have called the causes that ruin their lives, systematic overtime working, the lack of the ability to obtain full knowledge, as well as the lack of support from relatives and Mefs.
